As we celebrate the joyous occasion of the Sinhala and Hindu New Year, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all cadets, officers, teachers, parents and well-wishers of the National Cadet Corps.
This cherished festival, deeply rooted in our traditions and cultural heritage, reminds us of the enduring values of unity, discipline, respect and harmony. These values are also the foundation upon which the National Cadet Corps continues to nurture young leaders who are committed to serving the nation with honour and integrity.
May this New Year inspire our cadets to renew their dedication towards discipline, leadership, patriotism and national unity. Let it be a time of fresh beginnings, noble aspirations and strengthened commitment to building a peaceful and prosperous Sri Lanka.
I sincerely wish that this festive season brings happiness, good health, success and prosperity to you and your families.
