Police Assessment Camp (Boys) Detail II is at Police Training school, Kalutara

Police Assessment Camp Detail II was launched on 09th June 2018 at Sri Lanka Police College, Kalutara. 25 Platoons selected from Western Province participate in the camp and a few was selected from Kandy district.


Sri Lanka Police College located at Kalutara covers 256 acres where cadets are fortunate for an exceptional privilege to be trained in a National Training Establishment. Cadets are accommodated at Model Police stations established specially for Police personnel training with all the facilities of lodging.


Inspector General of Police Mr. Pujith Jayasundara addressed the cadets on the following day. He was pleased to address the gathering of 663 attentive cadets at the auditorium of Sri Lanka Police College. It was an unprecedented crowd for officers at Sri Lanka Police College because this was the first cadet Assessment Camp conducted at this establishment.


On the instruction of Deputy Inspector General of Police Mr. Sanjeewa Dharmarathna Director Training Recruitment & International Affairs, Director Sri Lanka Police College, Deputy Director Training Superintendent of Police Mr. Anil Priyantha and Deputy Director Admin are very corporate with NCC officers attached temporarily to the particular camp. Chief Inspector of Police Mr. SPK Gunarathna is functioning as the coordinator. Lieutenant Colonel Pradeep Jayasuriya NCC is working as the Camp Commanding Officer and he is whole responsible for administration and training too.
