                On the invitation of State Ministry of Defence in an Indian delegation comprising of two officers and six cadets (03xboys and 03xgirls) arrived in Sri Lanka to attend Cadet Advanced Course scheduled from  03rd  November 2017 to 10th November 2017 at the Training Centre, Rantembe.
                The delegation reached the island on 06th November at 1605 hrs and expected to leave on 11th November 2017. During their tour to Training Centre, Rantembe, they visited Peradeniya Botanical Garden and the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Indian cadets also took part in leadership activities assigned for the cadets at Advanced Course and they interacted with Sri Lankan cadets at the training centre.
                Director NCC hosted them a lunch at the Training Cenre, Rantembe. Deputy Director, Senior Officers of the HQ, the Commandant also attended the occasion. They witnessed the passing out parade of the Advanced Course for which nearly 600 senior corporals who are supposed to be next year’s sergeants and senior NCO’s of 38 battalions. The delegation also attended a presentation about NCC functions at HQ NCC on 10th November 2017.
